Completion of 8 Successful Academic Years - Asma's Model School (for Girls) AMS

AMGS was an initiative taken to educate the girls of kisaans and mazdoors in an impoverished village of KPK where there was no facility for girls earlier on. The school is a miracle for these girls and has provided them with opportunities to exploit their potential and grow as knowledgeable, and sensible young women.

Each girl child deserves a chance at life - Asma's Model School (for Girls) AMS

Napoleon said: "Give me an educated mother, I shall promise you the birth of a civilised, educated nation." Education is the backbone of any nation. Here in Pakistan, there is a countless number of girls who are denied their rights to education. Educated women can lead their lives with better planning and standard of living. They can make their own decisions and get better mental and physical satisfaction than women who are uneducated. They are more conscious about life and their rights, and thus they become more sensible daughters, sisters, wives and mothers. They become productive and contributing members. This makes their community and country prosper, and ensures a healthier future. And each of our little efforts ensuring this matters!

From Streets to School!

We, at Asma Homes, believe that each child is an opportunity regardless of their ethnic, religious, financial, cultural background and thus have the right to be protected and be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our mission is to pull such deserving children out of the streets and settle them into a safe learning environment where they can be secure, can learn, can explore and be happy and healthy. Once they discover what they're capable of, they begin to do wonders. Each life matters!

Children helping Children - Asma Homes

Children at Asma Homes are not only provided with comfortable living and clothing, nutritious food and schooling, but all the love and attention they deserve in their lives and are deprived of. It is some of those compassionate children from the privileged background who care enough to devote their time, effort and attention to uplift our wonderful kids at Asma Homes and make a difference!

Visits to Asma Homes and Asma's Model School (for Girls) AMS

Quoting Frederick Douglas, Ms. Asma said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men”. Ms. Asma Munir Salman is the owner of Asma Homes and AMGS, a school for girls in a remote village in Peshawar. The first phase of the visit comprised of us going to the Asma Homes in Madina Town and carrying out various learning activities for the kids there. On the morning of 1st April, we set out for Peshawar and, after getting there, spent the whole day teaching and interacting with them and enjoying their hospitality. The little girls there were extremely joyful and eager to learn. Through these visits, we experienced something we never would have otherwise. We came back home happier and more satisfied than we’d ever been.
